I am not much of poet. Really and truly I have a lot of difficulty writing poems. But the other day in my English class, our Do Now was to write a 20 line poem about our favorite food. I was surprised at how easy this actually came to me, and I larvee my poem so much, I will share it with the world. :]
This is best read in an upbeat fashion.
*clears throat*
Tofu Tofu its go great
I like to eat it on a plate
Fried, soft or with some rice
Eating makes my tummy feel nice
With a noodle or some soup
It truly could feed a troop
Sweet and Sour or super spicy
Though I’d prefer to share with a mousey
Tofu, Tofu its my favy
It prompts my veggie like ways
You should try, you really should
It will make your tummy feel good
Cook it any way you want
Sometimes you can’t even taste this stuff
Take my word
It really is good
Now run down to your local market
I promise now, you won’t barf it
Tofu, Tofu its delici-
I even eat it on a dish
lol.
